Wedding photography is my speciality - I've got more than 50 under my belt and I've taken more than 20,000 photos for my happy couples.
Whether you call it a marriage or a civil partnership is neither here nor there - I'll be there to capture your wedding. And if it's in Berlin or somewhere else doesn't matter either, my cameras and I love to travel.
What I Offer
Whether you're keeping things simple with a registry office wedding or are having a three day festival, I'll capture the most beautiful day of your life. But how do you find the perfect photographer for your wedding?
First off, the wedding shoots in my portfolio will have to hit the mark for you. My focus is easy-going, natural phoos that capture your personality and the individual atmosphere of your wedding. You're the centerpoint, but those special moments with your favourite Aunt will be captured too, of course.
So hit the keyboard and send me a message so we can get to know each other over a cup of hot chocolate and we can figure out exactly what you're after.
Convinced, and want to get in touch?
Got a question or two?
I've tried to answer a few common ones here.
1. How many photos do we get?
That depends a little bit on what exactly you're after. A short registry office wedding will obviously generate a few less photos than at a 10 hour wedding party. In our contract I'll guarantee you a minimum quantity. From experience, however, you'll get quite a few more than the guaranteed minimum. That's because I'll give you every single one of the photos that pass my strict quality control.
2. Are the photos in black and white or colour?
Usually I shoot a mix of both, with around 75-80% in colour and the rest in black and white. Some photos are just nicer that way. If you have strong feelings on the topic, I'm more than happy to talk about it ahead of time.
3. Do you also offer photo albums?
Yup, I can offer you wedding albums. This will cost a bit extra, but you can decide on whether you want a photo album after I've sent you your photos. You'll be able to easily let me know which photos are your favourites with just a few quick mouse clicks via your password-protected online gallery.
4. What equipment do you use?
I always have my two trusty Canon 5D Mark III Cameras with me. I carry them on a holster so I can quickly and easily switch between lenses without missing a beat. For later in the evening I always have a flash with me too.
After the wedding I use Adobe Lightroom to make minor adjustments to the photos.
5. What about travel costs?
Travel costs within Berlin (inside the BVG's AB zones) are included in my price. Outside of this area I'll have to add some travel costs. I'll agree these with you ahead of time, of course and I've already shot many an overseas 'location' wedding.
6. How do we get the photos?
You'll get the photos in two different formats, as high resolution files as well as web-optimised versions. The high resolution version can be printed by you as often as you want, the web-optimised versions are meant for easy sharing with friends and family wthout overloading in-boxes.
You can download all your photos from your password-protected Ihr könnt euch alle Fotos aus eurer kennwortgeschützten online gallery.
7. When can we expect our photos?
I guarantee that you'll get your wedding photos within 6 weeks of your wedding day. But I do my best to get them to you before then, and usually I manage that. During the high season, in the summer, that's not always possible, however.
8. What happens if you're sick?
That's never happened after more than 50 weddings! I'd have to be lying in hospital to stop me from being at your wedding. In case something does happen, I have a wide circle of very good wedding photographer colleagues that could jump in last minute. You'd obviously get your money back from me.
