Kulturgut Wrechen Wedding | 20.09.14

Driving north from Berlin for about 90 minutes, close to Prenzlau, you come across Wrechen, a tiny town with this beautiful historic guesthouse; Kulturgut Wrechen. With a large amount of land and a stunning view across a lake at the back of the house, this is an ideal location for a intimate wedding with 50-60 guests. Nadine & Niels had such a sunny day for their wedding, so their wedding guests played games on the lawn whilst we wandered around the land taking photos!

A particularly beautiful moment for me was when Nadine & Niels had their first dance outside under the fairy lights - stunning!

I look forward to returning to this venue, it really is very special x

Michelberger Hotel Wedding | Berlin, 13.09.14

This wedding from last summer probably had one of the coolest inner-city Berlin venues for the reception, the Michelberger Hotel. I immediately fell in love with the decor, from a collection of old post boxes filling a wall, to a courtyard full of fabric flags hanging from the windows - you've really got to see it! The hotel is a great playground for a photographer ;-)

Birte & Paul suited the location perfectly, and their guests loved every second of their big day.

Sahra & Nick's French Chateau Wedding | Créancey, 23.08.14

I've been looking forward to blogging this wedding since the summer! Sahra and Nick's wedding took place in a small French town called Créancey, about a three hour drive from Geneva over the Jura mountain range.

Even though it rained particularly heavily whilst Sahra was getting into her beautiful wedding dress, the clouds cleared, and following their legal ceremony in the local Mairie, we enjoyed a very relaxed ceremony outside in the grounds of the Chateau. During their ceremony, they had performances by musician friends, a dancer from the Cirque du Soleil, and moving readings by their close friends. The rest of the day was filled with music, food & drink and many many laughs.

This is a particularly long post for me, as I was with Sahra and Nick from the very start of their day till the wee hours of the morning, so I hope you enjoy it!

Hotel Adlon Wedding | Berlin, 20.08.14

This Berlin city wedding definitely oozed elegance and sophistication. With vintage shoes by Dior, and a wonderfully colourful little number by Yvonne Warmbier, Mareike looked every bit as classy as their wedding location; the Hotel Adlon on Unter den Linden. Their ceremony took place in the library at the hotel, with an aroma of leather-bound books and views over the Brandenburger Tor!

Following their wedding ceremony, we took a stroll through Tiergarten taking photos along the way. From the Haus der Kulturen der Welt we rode in style to their reception venue, the Pauly Saal restaurant in Berlin Mitte.

Wannsee Wedding | Berlin, 09.08.14

As soon as you hear that the flowers are going to be Marsano Blumen, the shoes are Jimmy Choo, and the dress is Kisui, you just know you're in for a treat ;-) Not to mention that fact that their little Fiat 500 was dolled up for the occasion to become their wedding car - vintage chic! This wedding, located just outside the centre of Berlin around Wannsee lake, had guests from all over the world and it was without a doubt worth the long journey for all their loved ones.

After an afternoon relaxing and soaking up the atmosphere at the Berliner Ruder Club, the evening started with a bang (literally) with a beautiful display of fantastic fireworks over Wannsee lake. A stunning night to remember for a very long time to come!
